Visual Content development, trend forecasting, and full-service content creation for Kaia Naturals, a clean beauty brand based in Toronto. During my six-month internship, the role involved working closely with the founder, social media manager and the marketing team to shape a compelling digital presence across the website, TikTok and Instagram, utilizing both in-platform tools and professional design software. From videography and editing to graphic design and branded storytelling, culturally relevant concepts were brought to life across social and print platforms.
Highlights: The work emphasized conceptual thinking and cultural fluency, with a strong focus on trend prediction and real-time content ideation. Responsibilities included developing viral social media concepts and short-form videos that resonated with emerging aesthetics and targeted audience, contributing to 150,000 new TikTok followers in just two weeks and over 5 million organic views. On Instagram, the brand’s visual language was elevated through curated assets that increased engagement and helped grow the follower count beyond 25K.
Deliverables included campaign art direction, editing, UGC-style content creation, visual strategy, trend forecasting, and the design of both digital and printed marketing materials.
